About Us
Big Tree Campervans is a small family business run by Simon & Sarah Yearsley, with some occasional help from our two young children! We are also brilliantly supported by Mark McFadzean, who plays a key role in preparing our fantastic campervans. We are based in Bankfoot, a small village about 6 miles north of the beautiful city of Perth, right in the very heart of Scotland.
We love campervans, and love holidays in Scotland. We've over 30 years experience of travelling, exploring, climbing and canoeing across all of Scotland, either under canvas, in our campervans, in caravans, or in motorhomes. Between us, we have enjoyed countless holidays in Scotland, across the UK, and throughout Europe. Simon's love of campervans can probably be blamed on his parents, who bought their first Dormobile called 'Polly' in 1968, and drove Simon and his brother off to Bulgaria for the summer!
Our aim at Big Tree Campervans is simple: to help you create your own adventure - experience an unbeatable holiday exploring all the fantastic places in Scotland.

We are really conveniently situated just off the main A9 which is the main north-south route in central/eastern Scotland. We're within an hours' drive of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Sustainable Tourism
Making sure our lifestyle, campervans and business are as responsibly sustainable as possible has always been important to us. So, you won't find we've got lots of tree-trashing paper based products, leaflets or promotional things, we prefer to do things online and as paper-free as possible.
All our cleaning products where possible are eco-friendly.
We do as much of our business as possible locally, for example where we source our food for the popular 'First Night Meal', and all our business stuff.
But, we can't get away from the fact that Big Tree Campervans is all about a vehicle with an internal combustion engine! So, we've now got two campervans which run on AutoGas, which we really hope will be a success. We also provide an important leaflet about responsible, safe and low-emission driving with all the campervans, and we're looking at a variety of carbon-offsetting schemes.
